Surf
Surfing in Samoa is amongst the most challenging in the South Pacific. Shallow reef breaks make this a complete thrill for the most adventurous surfers.
Both Upolu and Savaii have some excellent surfing in both winter and summer months. Winter surfing is generally more reliable (May to Oct) with southern swells hitting the south coast of Upolu and Savaii.
The best surfing conditions are in their dry season – May through to August.
Climate: tropical; rainy season (October to March), dry season (May to October)
